In a momentous occasion for the Hindi film industry, Vikrant Massey's '12th Fail' clinched the prestigious Best Film award at the 69th Filmfare Awards.

Reflecting on his experience, Massey shared, "The movie is very typical Vidhu Vinod Chopra movie, which is based on hard reality and is a very hard-hitting film. The role was very challenging. I had to lose weight and darken my skin."

The film's recognition reverberated across the industry, drawing praise from luminaries such as Kamal Haasan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Vicky Kaushal, among others. '12th Fail' captivated audiences worldwide, resonating with its authentic portrayal of human struggles and aspirations.

The 69th Filmfare Awards also honored stellar performances across various categories, with Ranbir Kapoor winning the Best Actor In A Leading Role for 'Animal', and Alia Bhatt receiving the Best Actress In A Leading Role for 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. Noteworthy mentions include Vicky Kaushal's win for Best Actor In A Supporting Role for 'Dunki', and Shabana Azmi's accolade for Best Actress In A Supporting Role for 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.
