An important view exchange meeting on the upcoming Referendum-2026 was held on Wednesday at the Liberation War Complex in Mujibnagar Upazila of Meherpur, aiming to ensure the referendum is conducted in a free, fair and participatory manner.
The meeting was organised by the Mujibnagar Upazila Administration and was attended as the chief guest by the Honourable Deputy Commissioner and Learned District Magistrate of Meherpur, Dr. Syed Enamul Kabir.
The programme was presided over by Mujibnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Saiful Islam. Among the special guests were District Election Officer Enamul Haque and Upazila Election Officer Nurul Islam, who addressed the gathering.
Speakers at the meeting highlighted the significance of the referendum, stating that it is one of the most important constitutional rights of the people. They emphasised that responsible participation of every citizen.
