Charging your electric vehicle just got a whole lot more exciting, thanks to Vauxhall's latest concept car, the Mokka Coffee. Designed to transform the electric vehicle (EV) charging experience, this innovative model features a compact coffee station nestled within its 310-litre boot.

With just the press of a button from the front seat, drivers can activate the barista-quality coffee station. The kit includes two coffee machines—one for freshly-ground beans and one for pods—alongside a coffee grinder, a knock box for used grounds, a milk steamer, and even a fridge for keeping milk fresh.

Vauxhall's Mokka Coffe-e promises to deliver 'barista-standard' coffee while you wait for your EV to recharge. The concept car's coffee station is accessed via a sleek pull-out drawer adorned with Vauxhall branding, adding a touch of luxury to your coffee break. On the outside, a subtle coffee-mug symbol hints at the vehicle's unique feature.

To complement this innovative offering, Vauxhall has teamed up with Sheffield-based artisanal coffee roasters Cafeology. The collaboration has resulted in a selection of exclusive coffee blends, including 'Cosmic Red' with stone fruit acidity, 'Contrast Grey' with earthy undertones, and 'Voltaic Blue' with vibrant fruity notes.

While the Mokka Coffe-e is currently a one-off concept and not available for purchase, it showcases Vauxhall’s vision for the future of electric vehicle amenities—turning charging time into a chance for a refreshing coffee break.
