Use of modern tech a must to build Digital Bangladesh: CCC Mayor

She is working tirelessly to move the country forward.  Digital Bangladesh should be created by building human resources based on modern technology.  Diploma Engineers of the country are making an important contribution to the mission of making Bangladesh a developed country as declared by the Prime Minister.  Diploma engineers keep the wheels of the country's economy moving through tireless work.

He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected officials of the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh Chattogram District Executive Committee at the IDEB building of the city on Tuesday morning in the discussion meeting of the public engineering day and the 52nd anniversary of IDEB on the theme of renewable energy for sustainable development.

Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh Chattogram District Branch President Engineer Md. Neshar Uddin presided.  The general secretary of the committee Engineer Md Jasim Uddin, special guest Pahartali ward councilor Md Wasim Uddin Chowdhury, Institution of Diploma Engineers Central and Wasa Board Member Zafar Ahmed Sadek, Chattogram Development Authority Member Engineer Munir Uddin Ahmed, IDEB Advisor Cultural Personality Freedom Fighter Dewan Mahmud Ahmed, Seven Ring Cement Manager ABM Iftekhar Alam Siddiqui, CCC Executive Engineer Jasim Uddin spoke.

CCC mayor said, about 18 crore people live in our small size country.  If this human resource is not utilized, it will become a burden to the country.  Ensuring affordable, reliable and sustainable fuel is essential for sustainable development.  Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and Russia, the continuous increase in the price of fuel oil and the demand and supply of fuel are also affecting the developed countries.  That's why everyone should give importance to the Prime Minister's call to be frugal.

He said, equal rights of people should be established in technology.  Institutions of Diploma Engineers should be prepared with technical know-how, labor and sacrifice to lead the workplace of developing countries in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.  Acquiring knowledge, experience and skills along with the institutional certificate already forms the eligibility criteria.  He called upon the diploma students to focus on acquiring skills to build a beautiful, prosperous and developed Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

 CCC mayor said that engineers are the frontline fighters for the implementation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Vision 2041, so it is the need of the hour to create technically skilled and qualified diploma engineers.  Recalling the role of diploma engineers in the construction of Kornaphuli Tunnel and Padma Bridge, he expressed hope that their role will be prominent in the development of the country in the future.
