A delegation led by Charlina Hussain-Morgan, Cultural Affairs Officer of the United States Embassy in Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shireen Akhtar at the Vice-Chancellor's office on Monday.
CU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Benu Kumar Dey, Registrar (Acting) Prof. SM Monirul Hasan, Proctor Dr. Rabiul Hasan Bhuiyan, President of International Relations Department Dr. Sujit Kumar Dutta and IQAC Additional Director Dr. Mohammad Omar Farooq were present. The members of the delegation are Raihana Sultana, Cultural Affairs Specialist of the Embassy's Education and Academic Exchange Program and Justin Halpern, Second Secretary.
She gave a brief introduction to the academic activities of the university and visit green campus. The embassy requested the assistance of the delegation regarding the exchange of educational programs of different universities of the United States with Chittagong University.
The members of the delegation were impressed by the beautiful view of Chittagong University campus and assured of their full cooperation in exchange of educational programs with various universities of the United States.
