US Ambassador visits Ukhia Rohingya Camp

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Robert Miller visited the world's largest refugee camp at Kutupalong Rohingya camp under Ukhia in Cox's Bazar on Thursday.

At that time he participated at a rally marking ‘World Refugee Day Rally’. The US Ambassador took part in the train from the honeycomb camp, on the occasion of World Refugee Day at 12pm on Thursday.

The rally began from Modguchora rohingya camp to Kutupalong at 12 pm when the rohingya people started protestation and raised their voice saying “we do not want this refugee life, we want to return our country.”

US ambassador talked with them and assured to repatriate them.

During this time, UNHCR's Chief Steven Corliss, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Abul Kalam, national and international

NGO’s were present there.

Mentionable, like other countries in the world, Bangladesh observed World Refugee Day on Thursday.
