The annual holy Urs making the 13th death anniversary of Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Hamidullah (RA) will be held on Mia Shaheb's Maidan Darbar Sharif premises at Luxmibazar in the old city today (Tuesday), said a press release .
A day-long programme including Qurankhwani, Waz Mahfil and Milad has been organized on the occasion. The programme also include putting new Gilab on the Mazar after Fazr prayers, hamd, nath and religious discussion on the life and activities of Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Hamidullah (RA) widely known as the eighth Gaddinsin Pir of this Khankah Sharif.
Pesh Imam and Khatib of Shah Saheb Bari JameMaszidHazratMaulanaJabed Omar Al-Kaderi and other Islamic scholars will participate in discussion. The main programme will begin after Magrib prayers through recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Haji Dr Mohammad Ishtiaq Sazzadur Rahman. The akheri munajat will be conducted by present pir (Ninth Gaddinsin) and fifth mutawalli of Hazrat Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Shah Saheb Bari Jame Masjid Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim.
Later, tabarak will be distributed among the devotees. Convener of the programme Saiyed Toiyab Morshed Araf has invited all to attend the function.
