A two-member delegation led by Dr. David John Davies, International Consultant of Edu Can International Limited of United Kingdom, called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman at his office on Tuesday, reports BSS.
Other member of the delegation Paul David Watkinson, International Director of Haileybury School of UK and Former DU VC Prof. Dr. SMA Faiz were, among others, present on this occasion, said a DU press release. During the meeting, DU VC apprised the team members of brief history as well as academic and research activities of the university.
The VC also sought cooperation from the UK delegates in holding a special event which will take place in London to celebrate DU centenary in 2021. The UK delegates assured the VC of providing all possible support and cooperation in this regard. The UK delegation is now on a visit to Bangladesh for implementation of an education project titled “International School of Bhaluka in Mymensingh”.
