UK's Royal Schools of Music to provide music training to students in Dhaka

The students of Glenrich International School (GIS) will be given international music training by the prestigious organization Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). An agreement was signed between the two institutions in a ceremony organized at the GIS campus located in Satakule of the capital on Wednesday.

 “GIS will play a significant role in opening the door to the possibilities of students in performing arts and music,” Read a PR. 

Dignitaries from both institutions, including Mr. Shafaitul Islam, Representative of ABRSM in Bangladesh; Mr. Ramesh Mudgal, Principal, Glenrich International School; Mrs. Kumkum Habiba Jahan, Head of Junior School, Glenrich International School and Mr. Jahangir Kabir, Head of Operations, STS Capital; were present to celebrate the occasion.

“Recognizing the immense value of performing arts in a child's educational journey, GIS remains committed to providing its students with a rich and diverse range of artistic experiences. Through this agreement with ABRSM, GIS students will have the privilege of being trained by highly experienced ABRSM coaches in the art of Piano, Guitar, and Violin. These dedicated instructors will inspire and guide GIS students on a path of musical excellence, creating newer heights of cocurricular learning opportunity in Bangladesh” read the PR. 

“This partnership marks a significant milestone for GIS, as we strive to provide holistic and comprehensive education to our students, stepping beyond the traditional means of learning”, said Mr. Ramesh Mudgal Principal, GIS. “We are honored to team up with ABRSM, a highly esteemed institution with a shared vision of fostering a deep appreciation for music. Together, we will hopefully cultivate a vibrant and nurturing musical community within our institute”
