Police of Char Jabber PS under Subornchar of Noakhali district held two terrorists with firearms and ammunition from Beribandh area of Chajubilee Union around 11-30 pm on Sunday( 15 Nov.).
Arrested terrorists are identified as SheikhFarid(32) and Ayub Nabi(42) of Laxmipur district. They are learnt to be top terrorists.
Police inforemd, acting on a tip off, they held top terrorists Farid And Ayub from Beribandh are of Ziauddin Bazaar who came to sell fire arms. Later two LGs and four rounds of cartridges were recovered by searching their bodies.
They were sent to the jail through the court. Shahed Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Char Jabbar police station informed, there are several cases of robbery and firearms possession and use against Ayub Nabi and SheikhFarid in Habiganj, Ramgati and Hatiya police station. One more case has been filed against them in firearms and cartridge recovery incident.
