This time, two students from Sirajganj District Jail participated in the SSC examination. It was known that that one of the two will take the exam in all subjects while the other will take the maths exam only.
The two candidates are Tarek Hossain, a humanities student of Porabari High School in Sadar Upazila; and Md. Rubel Rana, a science student from Chauhali Janata High School,
Rubel Rana will give only maths exam. Both of them are taking exams at Victoria High School Centre.
Yunus Zaman of Sirajganj District Jail confirmed the matter. He said that three people expressed their interest to take the exam this time. In view of their application, permission was given for their examination by the District Prisons and Education Department. However, one student named Shakib Al Hasan of Tarasha is not taking the exam even though the three have been allowed to take the exam.
This year's SSC and equivalent exams have started simultaneously across the country from Sunday.
