Two people were stabbed to death by criminal gang on Friday night at Dharmaganj area under Fatulla and Kaladi area under Rupganj police station in Narayanganj.
The deceased were identified as Abu Taher, 40, son of Nur Mohammad, resident of Dharmaganj, and Solaiman, 58, son of Ayub Ali, resident of Kaladi village.
Quoting locals the police said that the incident committed at around 11 pm night when Abu Taher went to resist quarrel between two kids near his residence. Some people attack Abu Taher and stabbed indiscriminately and then locals rushed him local hospital where attending physician declared him dead.
Killed Soaliman’s family sources claimed that an unknown phone call he received and went out and after sometimes heard screaming. Family members and others rushed to the spot and found stabbed injured Solaiman. Locals sent him a hospital and the on duty doctor declared him dead at 11 pm night.
Two seperate murder cases were registered with Rupganj and Fatulla police stations in these connections but not yet found any clue over the incidents.
Inspector (investigation) of Rupganj Ataur Rahman asserted.
