As part of nationwide theater festival, two plays based on Bangladesh War of Liberation were staged at Magura Shaheed Atar Ali Library on Saturday night. The theater unit of Magura district and Kalamer Sainik Sangtha of Mohammadpur staged the dramas named ‘Unishsho Ekattoor’ and ‘Ekjon Muktijoddha’.
On the occasion of the ‘Mujib Borsho’, Bangladesh Group Theater Federation in collaboration with Bangladesh Shilpa kala Academy arranged the programme. Murad, Alok, Dilip, Anis, Iqbal, Sohail and Rubel acted in the drama ‘Ekjon Muktijoddha’ while Dilip Adhikari directed it with the script of Salauddin Milton. On the other hand, Naima, Jisan, Kamini, Siam, Musa, Arafat, Sahajahan, Hassan, Yasin and Nayan acted in ‘Unishsho Ekattor’ which directed by Najma Akhter on based a novel of Imdadul Haque Milon.
Nazma Akhter, Khulna Divisional Executive member of the Bangladesh Group Theater Federation, Press Club Secretary Shameem Ahmed, Magura Municipal’s Panel Mayor Maqbul Hasan Makul, Magura Theater Unit President Shafiqul Islam Shafiq expressed their views as guest at the function.
