Two male bodies including a seventy year old was found at Monday night at Khoishar village under Rupganj upazila and Fulhor village under Bandar police station in the district.
Among the bodies one was identifies as Fazlul Haq, 73, resident of Khoishar village, lived in the government provided a house under Asrayan project and the other body’s identity remained untraced yet.
Slain old man’s son Abdul Motin said that his parents would live at the house number-3 of Khoishr village that was provided by the government as the presentation of the prime minister as land and homestead less people.
Assistant superintendent of police of Rupganj circle Abir Hossain said that the body bore several mark of injuries. Body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy and then the reason behind the murder would be unearthed.
At the Dhamgar outpost of Bandar police station a sub inspector Jamil Hossain said that they being informed recovered a male body aged around 35 from Fulhor area. But so far none claimed the relativity of the body. An unnatural death case was recorded Bandar police station in this connection.
