Two killers of ex-BCL leader Nazmul arrested

Former district BCL vice-president Nazmul Huda was stabbed to death in Kishoreganj's Karimganj upazila recently. News of this brutal murder spread throughout the district. Karimganj police visited the spot immediately after the incident. The work of the police started. One day after the murder, on Thursday (May 5), Nazmul's aunt Advocate Mahfuza Khatun Moni filed a murder case against 27 people at Karimganj Police Station.

After the case was filed, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Karimganj Circle) Mohammad Iftekharuzzaman and Karimganj Police Station OC Shamsul Alam Siddiqui handed over the investigation of the case to Inspector of Police (Investigation) Joynal Abedin. 

After taking charge of the investigation of the case, Joynal Abedin started the investigation. It is worth mentioning that Inspector of Police (Investigation) Joynal Abedin has been able to arrest the accused by investigating many complex and sensitive cases in his working life and has also been rewarded by the district police.

He took to the field to arrest the accused in the murder case of former BCL leader Nazmul Huda. Uses information technology. Using information technology, the accused arrested Hiran Mia alias Hira Mia, 45, son of late Shafi Mia of Kandail village in Karimganj upazila from Savar police station area and Saka, 20, son of Kiran Mia of the same village from Rajshahi on Thursday night. Earlier, the accused Jilu Mia and one of the suspects were arrested immediately after the incident.

Inspector General of Police (Investigation) Joynal Abedin said the main mystery of the murder had already been uncovered and an operation was underway to arrest the other accused named in the affidavit.

Karimganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shamsul Alam Siddiqui said the operation was on to arrest the accused. I have been able to arrest three accused and one suspect named as Ezahar in connection with this murder. Hiron and Saka have been handed over to the court.
