Two killed in road crash in Banshkhali

Two people were killed in a collision between a CNG-run auto rickshaw and a vehicle carrying gas cylinders in Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram on Wedneday. Three others were injured at that time.

The incident occurred on Banshkhali-Chattogram main road in Natun Dighi area under Sadhanpur union at around 2:00am on Wednesday.

The diseased were identified as Rashmi Barua, 3, daughter of expatriate Saikat Barua, resident of Mukh Barua Para under Kalarmarchhara union in Moheshkhali upazila of Cox’ Bazar. The identity of the other deceased could not be known immediately.

The injured were identified as Golam Kuddus, 68, former Union Parishad Member of Hoanak union in Moheshkhali upazila, Priyonti Barua, 21, mother of the deceased girl, and Zaber, 19, the CNG-run auto rickshaw driver.
