At least two people including a college boy were killed and four others were injured in a road accident at Banti area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway under Araihazar police station on Wednesday early hours in the district.
The deceased were identified as Nafiz,18, son of Nayeem Mia of Rupganj upazila and student of government Sofor Ali College of Araihazar upazila, Dulal,50, son of Mohammad Ali, resident of Baher Char village of Brahmon Baria district. The identity of the injured are yet not settled.
Officer in Charge of Kanchpur highway police station Nobir Ali said that a CNG run auto rickshaw and a passenger bus collided and the two passengers of CNG run three wheeler died on the spot.
