Two infants were killed in a road accident at Jirat village under Narendrapur union in sadar upazila of the district on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Tahia Akter, 4, daughter of Kamal Hossen and her cousin Abu Huraira, 2, son of Zamal Hossain of Jirat village under Narendrapur union in sadar upazila of the district.
Officer-in charge (OC) of Jashore Kotwali Model Thana Tajul Islam said, Tahia and Abu Huraira were crushed under the wheels of a Trolly when they stayed behind the Trolly in the area at 6:00 am.Both the babies dead on the spot. A case was filed in Jashore Kotwali Model Thana in this connection.
