Two including child found dead in Savar

An unidentified woman and a child aged around 7 years old, found dead from separate places in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital. Police have arrested a couple over the child murder charge.

The deceased child was identified as Nafiza 7, daughter of Habibullah Nipu. However, the identity of another deceased yet to be identified. 

On the other hand, the arrestees over child murder charge were identified as Moksedul Islam and his wife Sonali Begum. 

They both  hailed from Shorishabari area of Jamalpur district.

Enamul Haque, Sub-inspector of Savar Model Police Station said, “The body of the child girl was found dead as packed from a neighbor’s room at Joynabari area of Hemayetpur in Savar on Friday evening. 

The child had been missing for the last two days.” Enamul Haque said, “The arrestees confessed the crime of the murder. They said they killed the child just for an earring.”

On the  other hand, Police recovered a body of an unidentified woman, aged around 40 years old, as in binding  and packed condition from Jamshing area of Savar on Saturday morning. 

However, police yet to identify the identity of the woman. A.F.M Sayeed, Officer-In-Charge of Savar Model Police Station said. 

“The bodies were sent to Shahid Suhrawardi Hospital morgue for autopsy after recovery.  Also, two separate cases were filed with Savar Model Police Station in these regards.”
