A team of Jibannagar BOP under BGB-58 battalion arrested 2 persons with US dollar and Bangladeshi currency from Biswas Cloths and Garments at Tarofdar Market in Jibannagar upazila town of Chuadanga district on March 19.
The detainee persons are Mofijul Islam, son of Sayeed Biswas and Hafizur Islam, son of Sayeed Biswas of village Puratan Tetulia under Jibannagar upazila of the district.
According to a press release signed by Mohammad Nazrul Islam Khan, Assistant Director of BGB-58, on information a team of BGB raided the area, detained them, after searching them recovered illegal US dollar 1600 and Bangladesh currency Tk10000.
BGB handed over them with US dollar and Bangladeshi currency to Jibannagar police station. A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
