In an operation in Jibannagar, Chuadanga, the Chuadanga District Detective Police have arrested two drug dealers along with one kilogram of cannabis (ganja). The arrested individuals are: Md. Tuhin Ahmed (27), son of the late Romjan Ali from Hariharnagar village, Jibannagar Upazila, and Md. Sajib (25), son of Abdul Majid from the same village.
Police reported that, under the direction of Chuadanga Police Superintendent Khondker Golam Mowla, BPM-bar, Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Torgul Hasan Sohag of the District Detective Police, a team arrested Md. Tuhin Ahmed and Md. Sajib from atop the Lakshmipur Bridge in Jibannagar Upazila at 10:00 PM on Tuesday. One kilogram of ganja was recovered from their possession. A regular case has been filed against the two arrested accused at Jibannagar Police Station.
