A sudden clash occurred between CFC and Sixty-Nine groups of Chittagong University (CU) Chhatra League. Two people were reported injured. The clash broke out in front of the Faculty of Business Administration on Monday. Later it spread to Shahjalal Hall and Amanat Hall. Police have been deployed at the spot to handle the situation.
It is known that two workers got into a fight in front of the faculty of business education on Monday. In this, Mirza was seriously injured. When this news spread, the workers of CFC groups in Shah Amanat Hall and Sixty-Nine groups in Shahjalal Hall started throwing bricks at each other.
After some time Sixty-Nine workers attacked BCL sub-scientist Sheikh Russell at a food hotel. Russell was taken to CU Medical Center for treatment.
Chittagong University Assistant Proctor Dr. Shahidul Islam said, 'There has been a clash between two groups of Chhatra League. We have proctorial body present and managed to defuse the situation.
