Two fishermen abducted in Sundarbans

Members of Bandit Zia forces abducted two fishermen from a remote area of the Western  Forest Department in the Satkhira range demanding ransom on Friday. The fishermen were abducted while fishing on the Batula River in the Sundarbans on early Friday.  Chief of Zia forces demanded Tk3 lakh for ransom. 

The abducted fishermen  were Khabir Hawlader  27, son of Mokim Howlader hailed  from Napitkhali village under Gabura union and Ripon Howlader 26, son of Sirajul Howlader. With the reference of abducted fishermen, Gabura UP chairman GM Masudul Alam said that the Zia force had abducted the two fishermen in the face of a 

weapon while fishing in the Sundarbans Batula river with a permit (pass) from the Kobatak Forest Office. Satkhira Assistant Range Officer, MA Hasan said action would be taken after  getting complaints against the abduction.
