Police arrested two drug peddlers along with 80 litres of liquor from Kaptai upazila in Rangamati district early Thursday.
The arrested were Memi Prokash, 44 and Suing Mong Marma, 28, residents of Borokholapara area in the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Chandraghona Police Station conducted a drive in Raikhali Bazar area at around 5:00 am and caught the duo red-handed along with liquor, said its officer-in-charge Ansarul Karim.
The arrested were produced before a court after a case was filed against them with the police station, he added.
