Two drug dealers held with hemp in Jibannagar

Chuadanga’s Jibannagar police personnel have arrested two drug dealers with one kg of hemp in an anti-drug operation. They were arrested from Dehati village of Jibannagar upazila on Sunday night. 

The arrested drug dealers are Ruhul Amin Nikari (26) son of Bakkar Nikari of Nikari Para in Andulbaria village of Jibannagar upazila and Alamgir Hossain (38), son of the Mastbari of Jadupur village in Chuadanga Sadar upazila. The arrested drug dealers were handed over to the court on Monday.

Jibannagar police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Islam said that police personnel led by Jibannagar police Inspector Nasirul Haque Khan raided Dehati village in Jibannagar upazila around 10:00pm on Sunday on the basis of secret information. 

They arrested Ruhul Amin Nikari and Alamgir Hossain, accused in multiple drug cases, along with one kg of hemp and a motorcycle. A case has been filed against the arrestees under the Narcotics Act with Jibannagar police station.
