The police recovered bodies of two people from separate places of Salanga police station of Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj. On Friday morning, two dead bodies were recovered from Bhuiagati in Ghurka Union of Salanga Police Station and Erandah in Nalka Union.
The deceased are Prasanna Halder (42) son of Prakash Halder of Isladighar village of Salanga police station of Raiganj upazila and Noor Nabi (32) son of Shafizuddin of Erandah village of Nalka union of the same police station.
Abdul Quader Jilani, officer-in-charge of Solanga police station, said that on Friday morning, locals informed the police after seeing a dead body lying in a brick kiln at Bhuiagati of Solanga police station. Later, the police reached the spot and recovered the dead body of Prasanna Haldar. On the other hand, on the same day in the morning, the family members informed the police after seeing the dead body of Nurbani hanging in their house in Erandah village of Nalka Union of Sallangar.
The police recovered the body after receiving information.
In this regard, the OC also said that the two bodies have been sent to Sirajganj 250-bed Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib General Hospital for post-mortem. The cause of death will be known after the autopsy.
