The detective branch (DB) police in a drive on Sunday night arrested two criminals with two foreign made pistols and 10 rounds of bullet from separate areas of Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.
Police super Golam Mostofa Russel disclosed the information in a media brief on Monday at his office.
The arrested were identified as Khalid Hasan Robin, 34, son of Mobarak Hossain, resident of Kutubpur village, wanted in eight criminal cases and Md Dalim, 28, son of Abdul Karim, resident of Jalkuri village, wanted in 6 criminal cases.
According to the information, police captured Robin along with a 7.62 bore foreign made pistol and four rounds of bullet and then on the basis of Robin’s information police arrested Dalim with a 7.65 bore foreign made pistol with six rounds of bullet and an empty magazine.
