Two persons including a woman were arrested by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in the evening of Wednesday from Khulumbari area under Hakimpur union of Shailkupa.
The arrestees were identified as Roksana Khatun, daughter of Siddiq Mandal of Khulumbaria village and her associate Saurav Das of Chandanimahal of Digholia in Khulna.
RAB sources said they conducted a drive acting on a tip off to recover drugs in the area. They arrested the duo with a pipe gun and local dagger.
The arrestees were handed over to Shailkupa thana police, after filling a case with the police station, RAB said.
