At the directives of fugitive convict BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, leaders and workers of BNP continued to resort to terrorist activities like in 2013, 2014 and 2015, according to media reports.

However, it is clear to all that the party would not be able to foil the upcoming general election through carrying out subversive activities, including sneak attack, across the country. We common people want an election, so the upcoming general election must be held in time in line with the Constitution.

Police arrested a Jubo Dal leader and his associate in connection with the derailment of a train in Gazipur that left one dead and seven others injured on December 13. The rail tracks in Gazipur’s Sreepur upazila have been cut off as per the instruction of Jubo Dal leader Sultan Salauddin Tuku, it is alleged.

So, only those who hurled petrol bombs are not offenders. The order came from London. At his (Tarique) directives and sponsorship, petrol bomb attacks were carried out.

Such incidents did not happen anywhere in contemporary times, not only in the history of the country but also in the political history of the world. Today those who are victims of the attacks are demanding justice.

Therefore, those who gave directives and financed the perpetrators should be tried too. If trial does not take place for these kinds of crimes, the country will witness recurrence of such incidents.

Strict actions must be taken if BNPand its allies toy to create a chaotic situation over the upcoming election slated for January 7, 2024.

BNP-Jamaat’s terrorists hurled petrol bombs on innocent people, school-going boys and girls, bus passengers, sleeping drivers of truck during blockade and the people were burnt and thus the BNP-Jamaat clique launched a battle against humanity.

We have the doubt whether there is any humanity left in those who kill the innocents by torching trains and hope,  the government will bring those culprits to justice. Everyone wants the trial of the culprits and they (miscreants) must be brought to the book.

We believe the countrymen will cast their votes in favour of their respective political parties’ nominated candidates to continue the development journey and preserve the country’s independence and sovereignty.
