Tri-annual conference of Thakurgaon Municipal Awami League was held at Zila Parishad Auditorium in Thakurgaon on Sunday. Ekramul Haque and Masudur Rahman Babu were elected as the president and the general secretary respectively in the conference.
President of Thakurgaon Municipal Awami League Nazrul Islam presided over the meeting while Presidium Member of Bangladesh Awami League and MP of Thakurgaon-1 constituency Ramesh Chandra Sen, President of Zila Awami League and MP of Thakurgaon-3 constituency Md Dobirul Islam, Vice-president of Zila Awami League and Zila Parishad Chairman Sadek Quraishi, Vice-president of Zila Awami League Mahabubur Rahman Khokon, Mahabubur Rahman Bablu, Join General Secretary Deepok Kumer Roy, Advocate Asm Golam Faruk Rubel, Organising Secretary Adv Mostak Alom Tulu, Zulfiqar Ali Bhuttu along with others were also present at that time.
