Sardar Shahadat Ali, General Manager (Additional Responsibilities), Eastern Railway, inaugurated a tree planting campaign at Chattogram CRB on Thursday afternoon. He planted forest and medicinal saplings at the time.
Sardar Shahadat Ali said the planting of saplings will continue in every vacant place in the eastern part of the railway. Trees will be planted from every section of the railway. There is no alternative to planting trees to protect the environment.
Chief Engineer Md. Subaktagin, Additional Chief Engineer Md. Tanvirul Islam, Divisional Mechanical Engineer Md. Wahidur Rahman, Divisional Engineer-2 / Chattogram Md. Abdul Hanif and Deputy Director (Public Relations) Toushia Ahmed were present on the occasion.
