Police recovered the body of a transport employee from a jute field in Jhaudanga under Sadar upazila in Satkhira on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Alamgir Hossain Alam of Gobindakati village in the upazila.
He was a supervisor of transport company ‘Songram Paribahan’. Sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station, Tariqul Islam said the body that bore marks of injury and strangulation was sent to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
