Iswardi Upazila Administration distributed 20 kg of rice each among 15 transgender people as part of Prime Minister's food aid in the upazila of Pabna on Thursday afternoon.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ishwardi Imrul Kayes handed
over bags of rice to each trans gender at a function held at the Upazila Parishad premises as the chief guest.
Upazila Vice Chairman Atia Ferdous Kakoli, Project Officer Touhidul Islam, Social Service Officer Khandaker Masud Rana and others were present at the occasion.
