A training workshop styled ‘Me and my world’, a comprehensive curriculum on sexual and reproductive health and rights, was held at the PSTC complex in Gazipur on Tuesday.
Teachers and community youth organisers took part in the workshop organised with an aim to teach students and young people from school to make effective decisions on various exercises, games and recreation, enhance their life skills, sexual and reproductive health.
It is said that from the progamme, teachers and students will benefit from getting accurate information and advice on sexual and reproductive health education. The community youth and their parents said that the program on sexual and reproductive health education is very suitable. Director of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital in Gazipur Md Amir Hossain Rahat as a chief guest of Me and My World said, “PSTC has been instrumental in improving the lives and behavior of us and the boys and girls.
Gazipur Sadar Upazila Chairman Ed Reena Parveen, Deputy Director of Gazipur Social Services Office SM Anwarul Karim, Assistant Commissioner of the District Md Harun Aur Rashid, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Abu Obaida Ali spoke aming others.
Teachers of the secondary schools and madrasas, super teachers, assistant teachers, dignitaries, journalists, students and communal youth were present in the event.
The event was presided over by Executive Director of PSTC, Mohammad Noor Mohammad.
Area Co-ordinator Farzana Rahman delivered the welcome speech on the occasion of PSTC's Program.
