A student was crushed under the wheels of a running train adjacent to Rajshahi University campus on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Asadul Islam, 24, son of Mukul Hossain, a resident of Mushrail village under Shahmukhdum Police Station in Rajshahi metropolis.

He was a third-year under-graduation student in Rajshahi College. In addition to his studies, he was engaged as a food panda as a delivery man.
Police sources said he fell prey to the crash under the wheels of the Chilahati-bound Barendra Express train from Rajshahi near the RU's Fine arts Faculty building around 3 pm. Railway Police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of Rajshahi Medical College for post mortem.
