Versatile actor Afran Nisho starrer much-awaited detective series titled ‘Kaiser’ trailer released on Wednesday. Directed by Tanim Noor the series is expected to release on July 8. Nisho is making his debut in HoiChoi through this series.
Recently a press event was organised by HoiChoi at capital’s Khamarbari to release the trailer in the presence of actor Afran Nisho, director Tanim Noor along with all the cast and crew members.
Afran Nisho is playing the title role of ADC Kaiser Chowdhury, who is a homicide detective. Being a policeman by profession, this detective is addicted to video games and gets scared whenever he sees blood but has an amazing capacity to solve crime mysteries with his excellent observational powers, attention to detail, and am incredible ability to solve cases of crime mysteries.
In the trailer, Afran Nisho was seen as a detective who has got suspension many times and has a failed relationship. As the trailer progresses, murders of two young girls happens and Kaiser was assigned to delve into the homicide. The series shows Kaiser a brilliant detective who is flawed but is also deeply human.
Regarding the context director of the series Tanim Noor, said, 'Kaiser is my dream project. Since, I grew up reading various detective stories of Indian detectives such as "Feluda", "Tin Goyenda", "Byomkesh", and "Sherlock Holmes" from my childhood. I always wanted to create a detective character in the context of Bangladesh. Since Kaiser is a series built from my childhood inspiration, it was quite a big challenge for me. The audience will tell how well I have succeeded in the challenge.’
Apart from Nisho the series also features Mostafizur Noor Imran, Ahmed Reza Rubel, Nader Chowdhury, Reekita Nondine Shimu, Shahed Ali, Shatabdi Wadud, Sumon Anowar, Deepanwita Martin, Imtiaz Barshon, Naziba Basher, Soumya Jyoti, Shankh Zamana, Jinat Sanan, Mostafiz Shaheen and National Film Award winning child artiste Hridhi.
Tanim Noor also directed the online series ‘Money Honey’, which premiered in 2019 on the platform and was well-received by viewers. ‘Kaiser’ is expected to follow in the success of ‘Money Honey’.’
