The trailer of noted Bangladeshi film actor Jaya Ahsan-starrer Tollywood film “Bhootpori” has been released on YouTube recently. The trailer of the film promises to take audience on an emotional journey, intertwining elements of horror, mystery, and crime-thriller.
The trailer provides a glimpse into a touching narrative where a woman passes away. Jaya takes on the role of the ghost in the film. The emotional storyline promises a blend of heartwarming moments and thrilling twists, captivating audiences with its enigmatic performances.
“The film does not just remain limited to horror and ghosts. While unraveling the truth behind the woman’s murder, the film touches upon the crime-thriller genre as well,” remarked Jaya while talking to Indian media outlet Times of India.
Director of the film Soukarya expressed his excitement, stating, “The enchanting Bhooter Raja from Goopy Gayen Bagha Byne has always held a fascination for me. I’ve long aspired to craft a film delving into the amiable connection shared between ghosts and humans, uncovering both the joys and perils entwined within.” Alongside direction Soukarya Ghosal has written the story and screenplay of the film.
Besides Jaya Ahsan, Kolkata’s actors Ritwick Chakraborty, Sudipta Chakraborty, Shaantilal Mukherjee and Bishantak Mukherjee have played important roles in the movie.
