Mokammel Hossain, Secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, visited Darshana Port in Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga district on September 9 afternoon.
Ali Kadar, Chairman of Tourism Corporation, Mohammad Aminul Islam Khan, DC, Sanjida Begum, UNO of Damurhuda, BM Toriquzzaman, Executive Magistrate and Shahidul Alam, Executive Magistrate were with Mokammel Hossain, Secretary of the ministry.
Secretary of the ministry Mr. Hossain said, the present government is trying to develop the port and tourism spot.
He also stated, government has taken different type of steps for implementation of the sector.
