In parliamentary election of Chuadanga-1 constituency vote fight will be held among Awami League candidate and Independent candidates.
The total number of voters in the 12th National Assembly election of Chuadanga-1 constituency and 79 parliamentary seat is 4,83,980 people. Among them 2,41,387 are male voters and 2, 42,589 are female voters. A total of 181 vote centers will be set up for polling in seat.
Contesters in the election are Awami League nominated, symbol-boat Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, Independent candidate, symbol-eagle Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Independent candidate, symbol-fridge MA Razzak Khan, Independent candidate, symbol-truck Shahidur Rahman, NPP nominated candidate, symbol-mango Idris Chowdhury and JP candidate, symbol-plough Adv. Sahrab Hossain. Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun (symbol Boat), Dilip Kumar Agarwala (symbol Eagle) and MA Razzak Khan (symbol Fridge) have been moving every villages of the constituency. Their supporters, activists and workers have been knocking door to door for casting votes to go vote centers, sources added. In the meantime, Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun and Dilip Kumar Agarwala delivered their speeches in separate projection meetings at Alamdanga upazila town. Voters of different villages of Alamdanga upazila took part in the meetings. MA Razzak Khan spoke at a projection meeting in Chuadanga district town. Voters of Sadar uapzla attended the meeting at Puraton Stadium of the district town. Handbills are being circulated among the voters by their polling workers campaign day and night. Posters are being seen on walls.
Some people of village Sangkarchandra, Bujrukgargari, Hajrahati said, election fight will be held between Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, Dilip Kumar Agarwala. Some voters said, Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun and Dilip Kumar Agarwala are now in good position in the vote campaign, whereas, MA Razzak Khan is more active and voters’ support is increasing in his favour. Independent candidate with Truck symbol Shahidur Rahman, NPP nominated candidate with Mango symbol Idris Chowdhury are step up campaign. JP candidate with Plough symbol Adv Sahrab Hossain has removed from campaign as central committee of JP is not supporting him, he said.
