Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5, Mollapara camp arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 4.185 kilogrammes of Heroin from their possession from Rajshahi Court station area on Sunday night.
The estimated price of the recovered heroin is Taka four crore 18 lakh.
Two arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Kamrul Islam (50) of Diar Manik Chalk area under Godagari upazila and Omar Sharif Jony(30) of Harogram Natunpara area of Rajshahi city.
According to sources, acting on a tip-off, RAB held those two persons and recovered 4.185 kgs. of Heroin in 309 packages from their possession.
Arrested drug peddlers informed, they have been involved in drug peddling for a long time.
A case has been filed with Kasiagdanga police station under the Narcotics Control Act against the arrested drug peddlers.
