Magura Municipal Council has announced a budget of Tk 146 crore 64 lakh 30 thousand for the next financial year with a surplus of Tk 78.90 lakh.
Magura Municipal Mayor Khurshid Haider Tutul announced the budget at the municipal auditorium on Sunday. Advocate Saifuzzaman Shikhar, Member of Parliament for Magura-1 constituency was the chief guest on the occasion. Municipal Panel Mayor Maqbool Hasan Makul presided over the function.
In the announced budget, the total revenue income has been estimated at 14 crore 56 lakh 83 thousand taka. The project income has been estimated at Tk 130 crore 75 lakh 89 thousand.
The income in the grant sector has been estimated at Tk 2 crore. Revenue development expenditure has been estimated at Tk 78 lakh 94 thousand. The project cost has been estimated at Tk 132 crore 34 lakh 82 thousand 964.
