Tigress high hopes shattered to confirm the series victory against India when they suffered a 108 runs defeat in their second ODI on Wednesday.
But the Tigress hope still alive, as one match left to play, though the last match of the three-match series turned into a final and series is opened for all to win.
Held at the Shere-e-Bangla National Stadium, Bangladesh won the toss and sent Indian women, who set a challenging 229 runs target for the hosts, bundled out for a paltry 10 runs to level the series 1-1.
On the day, Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana eyeing to clinch the historic ODI series win against India opted to bowl first after winning the toss and restricted their Indian counterparts on 228 for eight wickets in 50 overs affairs.
Meanwhile, at the same ground on Monday, India won the toss and sent the Tigress to bat first when they set a 154 runs revised target in 44 overs (DLS method) and bundled out the opponents for 113 runs by 35.5 overs and registered the historic win to lead the three-match series by 1-0.
But the Tigress bowlers and as well as the batters failed to keep up their momentum of the first match and chasing to 229 runs target were all out for 120 runs.
Replying to the challenging target, Tigress saw early blows after losing their openers on 14 runs and reducing to 38 for three after the second wicket stand departed.
Shamima Akhter was the first wicket to fall when the right arm off-break Deepti Sharma trapped her (Shamima) into lbw with a flighted delivery on off which turns in sharply and as she goes for a sweep missed to connect and that knocked the top of her off stump.

Then captain Nigar Sultana and Rabeya Khan also gone in quick successions, as all hopes of Tigress shattered to win the match.
Rest of the six batters just gave missing trial when they were out for single digit with going to pavilion for 13 runs, as Bangladesh were bowed out for 120 runs to suffer a huge 108 runs defeat. Earlier, Bangladesh bowler despite taking three wickets for 68 runs by 21.1 overs in regular intervals after making early breakthrough with first wicket for 17 runs, could not send back danger bats Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues. At third wicket partnership, captain Harmanpreet accompanied by Jemimah Rodrigues revolving their strikes put on 73 runs for the third wicket stand before Harmanpreet retired hurt.
Harmanpreet, who retired hurt in the 37th going to complete a single, was hit on the left wrist at the non-striker's end and walked off the field after facing 80 balls and making 48 not out and came back in the 47th over to finish on 52.
Rodrigues smashed the team highest and her career best 86 runs off 78 balls.
Opener Smriti Mandhara also contributed a lot with 36 runs when Harleen Deol, who replaced all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar scored 25 runs to stretch the Indian innings to 228.
Marufa, who played key role in the first ODI taking four wickets to bowled out India for paltry 113 runs in her seven overs spell, could not shine on the day when she claimed only one wicket for 49 runs in her 10 over spell.
Sultana Khatun and Nahida Akter were two disciplined bowlers with taking two wickets each conceding 41 and 37 runs respectively in their 10 overs spells.
