Bangladesh cricket squad began the second phase of their pre-season preparations yesterday with a training camp in Sylhet. A group of 21 cricketers, including key players Litton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto, arrived in the city on Tuesday night after concluding the initial phase of their camp at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The camp, which runs until August 26, is a vital part of the team's preparations for the upcoming three-match T20 series against the Netherlands and the Asia Cup. Training will be held in two daily sessions, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Towards the end of the camp, the coaching staff has scheduled match scenario drills on August 24 and 25. The camp will conclude with a full practice match on August 26, where the 21-man squad will be split into two teams. The match is also expected to feature an additional six to seven cricketers from outside the official camp.

The Netherlands are set to arrive in Bangladesh on August 26 for the T20 series. The three matches will all be held in Sylhet, with fixtures on August 30, September 1, and September 3. Following the conclusion of the camp, the final squad for the series will be announced.
