Three youths injured in a Bomb blast in Benapole

Three youths were seriously injured in a Bomb blast at the Putkhali Border village in Benapole of Jashore on Saturday night, ahead of upcoming Union Parishad elections.

The blast took place at Putkhali Madhya Para village on Saturday night. Relatives of the injured rescued them and admitted them to Jashore General Hospital. The injured are Sohael Rana, 35, son of Abdur Rahman, Rashedul Islam 40 son of Ziaur Rahman and Ashikur Rahman, 42, son of Abdur Razzak of Benapole Port police station.

Among the injured, the right wrist of Rashed was severed from his body. The condition of Sohael and Ashikur is also serious. 

Meanwhile, the injured said that the three friends were standing in Putkhali Madhyapara village around 10.30 pm on Saturday. At that time, an unknown person bombed them.At that time Rashed's left hand flew. 

Meanwhile, another source said that they were making bombs to influence the area ahead of the upcoming UP elections. At that time, they were injured in the bomb blast. The hospital's emergency department doctor Salauddin Swapan said, Rashed's condition is critical among those injured in the bombing. Benapole Port Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mamun Khan said, Police have been sent to the spot after receiving the news of the bomb explosion. Police is investigation the incident but no case was filed in this connection.
