A mobile court in Savar on Tuesday afternoon sent four people to jail and another to juvenile detention centre for their involvement in anti-social activities.
The convicts are: Azad Sharif, 29, Delwar Hossain Dilu, 32, Shima Khatun, 24, Dilara Begum, 35, and Sathi Akter, 15.
Sathi was sent to juvenile detention centre in Gazipur while the others were sent to jail for two months.
A team of police, led by Savar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Abdullah Al Mahfuz, raided the flat of a six-story building in Dagarmor area of Dhaka's Savar around 3:00pm and detained them.
Inspector (Operation) of Savar Model Police Station Jakaria confirmed the matter.
