Chattogram Metropolitan Juba League convener Mohiuddin Bachchu, two joint conveners Delwar Hossain Khoka and Farid Mahmud have officially joined the Chattogram Metropolitan Awami League .
They received the membership forms from Awami League presidium member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim at the Chattogram Metropolitan Juba League conference at The King of Chattogram Club in Panchlaish on Monday afternoon.
Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif, Awami League Joint General Secretary MP Mahbubul Haque Hanif, Organizing Secretary MP Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, Chattogram Metropolitan Awami League Acting President Mahatab Uddin Chowdhury, General Secretary AJM Nasir Uddin, Education were present on the occasion. Deputy Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel, Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, MP Afsarul Amin, MP MA Abdul Latif and Chattogram Development Authority Chairman Zahirul Alam Dobhas.
Earlier, Nagar Juba League convener Mohiuddin Bachchu, two joint conveners Delwar Hossain Khoka and Farid Mahmud had verbally announced to join Awami League politics.
None of them submitted their CVs for the post of president or secretary of Nagar Juba League.
Mohiuddin Bachchu was made the convener and Delwar Hossain Khoka, Farid Mahmud, Mahbubul Alam Sumon and Didarul Alam were made the joint conveners in 2013 Although a new committee was supposed to be formed through the conference then, it has not happened in the last nine years.
