Three motor-bike riders were killed in a head on collision with a truck near Singuria bridge on Bhuiyapur-Tangail road in Ghatail of Tangail district on Monday (28 Dec.) morning.
The deceased were identified as Rashid(15) son of Yousuf of Kagmaripara village under Bhuiyapur upazila, Munna(20) son of Lal Mia and Sourav of the same village.
Mokhlesur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Ghatail Police station informed, three motor-bike riders collided head on with a truck of the Fresh Company coming from the opposite direction. Two motor bike riders were killed on the spot and another succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Tangail General Hospital.
Legal action is underway in this connection, he further informed.
