Three held with phensedyl in Bogura

Police in a drive arrested three suspected drug dealers from a private car at Saatmatha of Bogura town on Monday. The arrestees were identified as Humayun Kabir, 28, son of Rajob Ali hailed from Etai village under Hakimpur Thana of Dinajpur district; Mahfujul Alom, 28, son of Samsur Alom Golap hailed from Hili village ofthe same upazila; Azadul Islam son of Abdur Rashid hailed from Sudampur village of Shibganj Thana.

Rezaul Karim Reza, Inspector of Bogura Sadar Police Station said under the directives of Additional Police Super of District Police Sanatan Chakrabarty and lead by Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station SM Badiuzzaman a drive was conducted on Monday.
At 9.00 am on Monday Police members search a private car (Dhaka Metro-Ga-11-1911) at Shaptapadi market area in Saatmatha of Bogura town. During this time, 200 bottles of contraband Indian phensedyl was recovered from a white sack. The private car and three were held at this time.

During the drive, In-charge of Bogura Sadar Outpost inspector Abul Kalam Azad, SI Zillur Rahman along with other police members were also present.
