Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel has distributed Iftar items among helpless families on the occasion of Ramadan.
The Iftar items were distributed at a function held at the Rima Convention Center in the city on Saturday morning.
The materials were distributed to 1,000 families in Jamalkhan ward under the management of Farhadul Islam Rintu, former deputy secretary for social services of the central student league. Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel said that whenever there was a disaster or accident starting from Corona, first of all Bangabandhu and Bangabandhu daughter's came forward to help the people.
With the upcoming holy month of Ramadan in mind, the activists of the ideology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman are standing by the side of the common people in the month of Ramadan according to their ability.
Former Deputy Secretary for Social Services Farhadul Islam Rintu presided over the function while Monir Hossain and Nizam Uddin Saiful, leaders of Sechchasebak League conducted the program.
