CUET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam said, “Bangabandhu's return was a joyous historical moment for Bengalis.  Our independence was completed with the return of Bangabandhu to his homeland.  The historic speech delivered by Bangabandhu on his return to the independent country was a complete guideline for the nation building.  He gave a far-reaching outline on how to move a country with a fragile economy and create a science-based education system.

The dream of Bangabandhu is being implemented by his worthy successor Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.”

He said, “There is no alternative to research for a country's sustainable development. We have to play a role in building Bangabandhu's golden Bangla at the university level.”
